Abstract: Background: Phytosome is a novel technique introduced by Indena that combines standardised herbal extract and phospholipid in preferably equal ratio to provide better absorption enhancing bioavailability. Purpose: The objective of proposed study prepare, optimise characterize phytosomes Murraya koenigii (Linn.) Spreng improve its antidiabetic properties. Materials Methods: Antisolvent precipitation was used prepare phytosomes. Design expert software evaluate the impact soya lecithin cholesterol concentration on various dependent variables such as particle size, span value entrapment efficiency. Streptozotocin-nicotinamide induced diabetes model vivo activity rats for well prepared Results: were successfully designed optimised efficiency, value, zeta potential 236 nm, 75.1%, 0.395 -16.85 mV respectively. Streptozotocinnicotinamide plant extracts optimized phytosomal formulations male Wistar rats. Optimized formulation showed significant reduction serum glucose at lower dose, suggesting enhancement therapeutic efficacy. متن کاملMurraya koenigii leaf extract inhibits proteasome activity and induces cell death in breast cancer cells
BACKGROUND Inhibition of the proteolytic activity of 26S proteasome, the protein-degrading machine, is now considered a novel and promising approach for cancer therapy. Interestingly, proteasome inhibitors have been demonstrated to selectively kill cancer cells and also enhance the sensitivity of tumor cells to chemotherapeutic agents. Recently, polyphenols/flavonoids have been reported to inhi...
